Wireless keypad

Purchased a used 2012 fifth wheel 3 years ago. It had the Wireless keypad and door lock installed when we purchased the RV. It was working but the film on the keypad was discolored and starting to come loose so I ordered a new keypad about 2 years ago. The new keypad worked for about a 1-1/2 years then will not beep when all keys are pressed. Replaced batteries to no avail. Was disappointed that it did not last longer. Was pleased with performance when it worked.

10 # key pad

Purchased a USED, 5th Wheel with the round 10# key pad on the coach. Dealer never had the original lock/ unlock code. No way to reset or change the pass code WITHOUT the old code. SUCKS. FORCE TO BUY A COMPLETE NEW R.V. LOCK, RATHER THAN A SIMPLE RESET... NOT PLEASED AT ALL.

Remote Key Pad

I have been using my key pad for 4 years still works great but yes it's time for a new one in the weather for this long finally having a problem but for 20 bucks you can get a new one What electronic plastic item that you have had outside its whole life can be replaced for just 20 bucks.

Nice feature just doesn’t work reliably

Have the lock and wireless keypad. It’s a great feature but it doesn’t work reliably as it should. More often than not you have to enter the lock code multiple times before it will fully engage the lock. It does unlock though the first time, every time. On last weeks camping trip the cover for the keypad blew off going down the road. It was securely attached when we left but some strong cross winds peeled it right off and left it somewhere on the road.
