Refurb unit great
RVLock is so much nicer than OEM. Works much smoother and simple install.

My 4th purchase of v4.0
Overall exalent and now going to invest in baggage door locks. And master remote. Would like to see a aluminum lock handle the red plastic is the only week point.

Replaced all locks
We purchased a used Heartland Cyclone. All of the locks were keyed differently. I ordered two door handles and four baggage door handles. Easy to install and works perfectly.

Install went with only a user error or so.
The RVLock is working well my only problem was with the install. I have an R Pod 179 and there is a structural shim in the door that appeared to be keeping me from inserting the lock. Well that turned out to be a mistake on my part. I am a visual repetitive learner and I mistakenly thought that the deadbolt should be extended. That was the issue. As soon as I reviewed a couple of YouTube install videos I realized none of them had that extended. As soon as I retracted it the lock inserted quite easily and the rest of the assembly process went smoothly. My only other issue was that the door jam latch plate was too far out and had to be flattened to allow the lock’s latch tongue room to catch and release. It did take me a time or two to get the door code changed to my desired combo. That again was probably user error.
