Easy to install and use once I modified the door. I like all the features and how I was able to retain factory keyless lock.
Seems like a decent lock/handle on the outside part but inside handle fell off as it is only held on to the shaft withcompression fit. I had to drill then tap for a 10-32 machine screww and install with large fender washer with lock-tite then it was good hopefully forever. It took abot 3 hrs in total for install with modifications
Have not used it for any length time but so far so good. The installation of the lock/door handle was easier than I expected is was nice to have installation instruction video .

The Atlas RV Lock was a great update to my 2000 Winnebago Adventurer. I bought mine a couple of years ago and the year for the dead bolt had broke off in the key hole so I didn't have a dead bolt I could lock. Also my door would lock itself if the door shut hard because the lock had become more loose and since it's goes down to lock it could just fall down. Now I don't have to worry about forgetting keys or getting locked out because the door shuts too hard. Also with the videos provided it took less than 30 minutes to install. Great product - it's really a wonderful addition to the RV.

The outside handle would jam when locking the lower lock. I had to modify the Lower lock mechanism. Inserted a spacer to prevent the lock from jamming and locking myself out of the RV when pulling forcefully on the handle.
I recommend the non refurbished model.
