Easy to install and use once I modified the door. I like all the features and how I was able to retain factory keyless lock.
This seems to be a very nice product. I bought an open box and it was like new, never used. Like I have read in other reviews, the latch adjustment rod is a piece of ****. It is not bent correctly so it needed modification in order to line up with the hole in the door. It was also too long for my application so I had to cut it off and use a die nut to make more threads. The other issue I have is it doesn’t line up the same as the original. My Rv is black so now I have a white unpainted 1/8” wide strip above the handle. I will have to mask it off and touch it up. Would have been nice if it either fit the same or was slightly larger.
Handle works great, install went smoothly and easy. Programming took a bit to confirm code. But wireless key fobs was a breeze and worked great. Very pleased with prompt shipping and packaging of product!
I had to modify the door to get this to fit. The metal bracket inside the door and the lock,/handle were not compatible. In the end I got installed and working, but the process took over an hour, not the 30 minute stated. And I’m pretty good mechanically.
Seems like a decent lock/handle on the outside part but inside handle fell off as it is only held on to the shaft withcompression fit. I had to drill then tap for a 10-32 machine screww and install with large fender washer with lock-tite then it was good hopefully forever. It took abot 3 hrs in total for install with modifications
