STEP ONE
Review exisiting dimensions.
Fits Existing 4.5" x 3.5" Openings
Verify that your existing cutout size measures approximately 4.5 x 3.5 inches. Verify that you have a 3 inch spacing between your existing handle and window.

Review common Class C & A Handles that the Charter can and cannot replace.
Handles the Charter Class C/A Replaces
The Charter replaces many Class C and select Class A motorhome handles. The following pictures are examples of handles we replace. Other factors may determine compatibility like deadbolt placement, distance from window (if applicable), and cut-out size.
Handles the Charter Class C/A Cannot Replace
Incompatibility often is result of incorrect cut out size, cylinder placement, and existing door configuration. These are common OEM handles the Charter will not replace.
The RVLock Charter for Class C & A motorhomes is a premium upgraded keyless handle. Most Class C & A motorhomes with the entry door behind the front axle will have compatibility with this lock. Very few motorhomes today come standard with a keyless option. The RVLock Charter is the only aftermarket keyless handle available on the market.
The exterior handle features an ergonomic grip that gives more leverage than a traditional handle. A weatherproof backlit keypad comes standard with every Charter Class C & A handle.
