RVLock 4 Button Remote FOB

I have had our RVlock for over 8 years, a few months ago my old fob quit! If this one works that long you will have a customer for life!
Like the new style.

The remotes work very well. The issue for me is the raised buttons. They are always getting accidentally pushed. The fear is accidentally unlocking the door, which I’ve done numerous times. My solution for now it to put the remote on a lanyard. This seems to work well so far.

I'm so happy they got rid of that horrible little A27 battery and replaced it with a button cell. Now I can throw away the half a dozen old FOB's that ALL went bad due to battery failure. The only thing that concerns me is that one representative tried to charge me full price for a new FOB while another told me all I had to pay was a $5 shipping fee.

The RV Locks are great. Customer service has always been wonderful and very informative. But as for the FOBs they work then they dont. Have not used my pair in last couple years. Just picked up a new trailer that came with a lock already installed and another FOB.
Since the FOBs can operate 2 units, I though why not put them back to use. Well all the batteries were dead. Let me tell you, what a pain in the butt trying to find 27A batteries, then at $8/each.
Now lets get to the FOBS. multiple attempts on both units for last couple hours. One of the FOBs would lock on #1 and open on #2, reset lock and program it again, again the same. Very frustrating to say the least. Would not recommend the FOBs for any consistency.
Not sure if mine are just a older version being the orange and black ones. But now with 2 locks and 3 FOBs that just sit clipped to the keys. Wa really hoping they would of worked.

I have owned a RV Lock for many years and it is totally Bullet Proof on the other hand the Weak Link in the system is the Remote Key-Fob. Everything has been working fine until one day. First of all you better have a eye glass repair kit with a micro Phillips Screwdriver handy to open up the Key-Fob. I tested the A27 12 Volt Battery and it has plenty of juice left. The issue is when I push the Key-Fob the blue light on the Fob lights up but the lock mechanism does not move. I know the batteries in the lock work because when I use the Key-Pad on the Lock everything works fine. I have even tried to link the Key-Fob to the lock until I was blue in the face. Replacing the Key-Fab at this point means I am on my Third Set of Key-Fab's. I have found the Weak Link. Thank God the Remote for my Tow Vehicle doesn't break as offen because there is no Key-Hole on my dashboard to start my vehicle. The Key-Fob helps me considerably to unlock the door and get it open so that my 190 lb Cane Corso Puppy does not try to run through the door. Please help me...
