The RVLock Compact Keyless Handle designed to fit most towable trailers with doors 1.5" thick. This durable keyless handle is 25% lighter than the RVLock V4, while offering the same expansive compatibility. For those with a window in their door that extends below their handle, the Compact is the only RVLock keyless entry handle that will install properly.
The exterior handle features an ergonomic grip that gives more leverage than a traditional handle. A premium weatherproof backlit silicone keypad comes standard with every Compact handle. Designed with efficiency in mind, our Compact Keyless Handle includes a condensed keypad with shared number buttons—perfect for maximizing space without sacrificing performance. The Compact's electronics are designed to operate only the deadbolt—not the paddle. For added accessibility, every RVLock Keyless handle comes with a 4-Button FOB. I received the locked in a timely manner with them being keyed alike. Upon opening up packing the lock with the keypad I noticed that there isn't much of a handle for the inside to close the door. Also, the housing is a plastic type of material, which I do not see holding up to heat in the South. After installing the assembly on the door, it made the outside of the door curve in. Might have be nice if it would have used the same type of screws for mounting as OEM to eliminate this issue. Overall, I will have to wait to see how long it last over the next few months or so or I may just go back to the OEM handle. It's a lot of money just for plastic and engineering that didn't' put true quality above cost.
I have installed this on a 2023 Sierra 3550 5th wheel
We have had the keyless entry on our fifth wheel, both the front and back doors, for over six years now. Both are still working great! Only issue I’ve had so far is the number pads of broken away because they’re a thin plastic. Even with that, they deserve a five star review due to longevity, ease of install, and ease of use!
The convenience of having a door lock that is either operated by a key, number pad, or remote control is just beyond amazing. It was super easy and quick to install and when buying two they key it the same so you don’t have to worry about having no two separate keys. Another awesome bonus and convenient feature. I love my rvlocks and can’t brag about them enough.
This product is way better than I expected! It is made of metal not plastic and seems very durable! The shipping was quick and overall I think this is going to be a wonderful product easy to install and very simple to use
It's only been installed for a week, but so far we've had no difficulties at all. I appreciate the multiple methods for gaining entry.
