RVLock Compact Keyless Entry Handle

This product is way better than I expected! It is made of metal not plastic and seems very durable! The shipping was quick and overall I think this is going to be a wonderful product easy to install and very simple to use

It's only been installed for a week, but so far we've had no difficulties at all. I appreciate the multiple methods for gaining entry.

I purchased this lock on memorial weekend while I was camping and had the lock within 4 days. Very easy install. Instructions and video was very helpful and the quality of the lock was top notch. Above and beyond happy with the upgrade and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

I had high hopes for this lock as I’ve read such amazing reviews. Just bought a new 2025 travel trailer and I selected the compact model as my camper has the black glass doors so I wanted the lightest weight option. Overall it feels a bit cheap, not nearly as solid as the inexpensive standard door handle my new camper came with. There is a bit of flex when pulling the door closed from the inside which has me concerned about longevity. The interior red deadbolt lever is also incredibly cheap feeling and flimsier than the one on the standard latch.
Now my biggest complaint is with the actual opening mechanism. It’s a bit gritty feeling and makes a very annoying “tinging” spring sound when fully opened and when springing back to the closed position. They sent me a new spring, but it still does the same thing. There is too much play in the latch combined with a sizing issue of the spring or spring opening that leads to the coils of the spring getting caught on their way in and out of the catch as the handle is pulled and springs back to its resting position. I’m surprised more people haven’t complained about this, it’s pretty annoying when you notice it and I’ve heard it in atleast one other review. Everyone just focuses on the fob and keypad (which do work great by the way) but the main thing you do with a door handle is open and close it and this function is poorly executed. Customer service was friendly but incredibly slow in responding (about 24hr between responses) so after they sent the new spring I just gave up.
I’m keeping the lock because I love the keypad and features of it and there doesn’t seem to be a better option from a competitor but I’m still very disappointed that the mechanism of the cheap locks that come on every standard camper are so much smoother and more sturdy than this expensive lock.

*I tried to upload a video showing the sound compared to the lock that came with my camper (which I sent to customer service) but the website won’t let me upload a video so I attached a screen shot where you can see the cheap spring and bottom placement that leads to the issues compared to the silent standard lock above it.
