RVLock Extended Limited Warranty

RVLock® Extended Limited Warranty (Manufacturer Warranty Extension – Year 2)

Obligor: RVLock and Co, LLC. (“RVLock”)

1. Purpose and Scope

This Extended Limited Warranty (“Extended Warranty”) is a manufacturer-provided warranty extension offered by RVLock for eligible RVLock® door handles (“Product”).

This Extended Warranty extends the coverage provided under RVLock’s standard Limited Warranty for an additional one (1) year, resulting in a total warranty term of two (2) years from the original retail purchase date.

This Extended Warranty is not insurance and does not provide cash reimbursement, indemnification, or coverage against loss.

2. Coverage

During the Extended Warranty period, RVLock warrants that the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service, when installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with RVLock’s published instructions.

Coverage applies only during Year Two (2) of ownership and only after expiration of the original Limited Warranty period.

3. Remedy

If a covered defect occurs during the Extended Warranty period, RVLock will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the Product, or

  • Replace the Product with a new or refurbished unit of equal or greater functionality.

Replacement products may be new or professionally refurbished and may contain new or reconditioned parts. Repair or replacement is the sole and exclusive remedy under this Extended Warranty. No cash refunds, credits, or reimbursements will be provided.

4. Replacement Limitation

This Extended Warranty is limited to one (1) repair or replacement during the Extended Warranty period. Once a Product has been repaired or replaced under this Extended Warranty, the Extended Warranty shall be deemed fully satisfied and fulfilled.

5. Exclusions

This Extended Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

  • Damage resulting from improper installation or failure to follow RVLock instructions

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or unauthorized modification

  • Damage caused by environmental conditions, including water intrusion, corrosion, extreme temperatures, or exposure beyond intended use

  • Labor costs, removal, reinstallation, or service charges

  • Loss of use, inconvenience, travel costs, or incidental expenses

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

6. Eligibility and Purchase Requirements

  • This Extended Warranty is valid only for the original retail purchaser

  • This Extended Warranty is non-transferable

  • The Extended Warranty must be purchased at the time of Product purchase or within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date

  • Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims

7. Claim Submission Requirements

To obtain service under this Extended Warranty, the purchaser must:

  • Submit a warranty claim through RVLock's designated support channel

  • Provide proof of purchase and Product identification information

  • Submit the claim within thirty (30) days of discovering the defect. Failure to submit a claim within this timeframe may result in denial of coverage.

8. Limitations of Liability

RVLock's total liability under this Extended Warranty shall be limited solely to the repair or replacement of the Product as described herein. RVLock shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, lost time, property damage, or inconvenience. Some states do not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

9. Relationship to Original Warranty

This Extended Warranty supplements and extends the original RVLock Limited Warranty. All terms, exclusions, and limitations of the original Limited Warranty remain in full force and effect unless expressly modified by this Extended Warranty.

10. Force Majeure

RVLock shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations under this Extended Warranty due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, labor disputes, governmental actions, or transportation delays.

11. Governing Law

This Extended Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. No Insurance Relationship

This Extended Warranty is a manufacturer's limited warranty extension provided by RVLock. It is not insurance, does not involve risk pooling, and does not provide cash indemnification or coverage against loss.

13. Consumer Rights Notice

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
