Guided installation video
A full walkthrough of swapping your old battery for the RVLock Scout Lithium Battery 100.
A straight swap. No rewiring. It goes where your old battery came out and connects to the cables already there.

Pull the old battery
10 minutesDisconnect the cables and lift out your existing Group 24 battery. Never mix battery ages, types, or capacities; always use identical RVLock Scout batteries.

Drop it in
5 minutesThe RVLock Scout Lithium Battery 100 should fit the same tray and connect to the same cables. Fold-away handles make the lift easy.

Check your charge profile
2 minutesSet your inverter/charger and/or solar controller to a LiFePO4 profile. Not sure? Call us at 1-888-316-9899.

Is the battery safe, and how much maintenance does it require?
The RVLock Scout Lithium Battery 100 is exceptionally safe and virtually maintenance-free. It uses highly stable lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) chemistry, and its battery management system (BMS) actively protects it from electrical limits. There are no electrolyte levels to check or water to add, so you spend less time on maintenance and more time enjoying your RV.
Can I add more power later if my travel needs change?
Yes. The battery is built around a modular 12-volt platform, so you can expand your power bank by installing additional batteries in parallel. This increases your available energy while keeping the voltage the same.
Do I need to worry about the battery freezing or getting damaged by the weather?
No. The battery has an internal heating system. It supplies power to your rig down to −4°F, and below 32°F the heater warms the cells before it accepts a charge. The heater won't drain stored power while the rig sits, and the IP65 case handles dust and road spray.
Will it work with my converter or solar charger?
The battery needs a lithium-compatible (LiFePO4) charge profile. Most modern inverter/chargers and solar controllers have one. Check yours before you install, or call us at 1-888-316-9899 and we'll walk through your system with you.
